Mr. Abdikarim – Academic and Administrative Leader
Mr. Abdikarim has more than fifteen years of experience in higher education as an administrator and a seasoned scholar. Both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics are from respectable Sudanese colleges. At SIMAD University, he currently holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Education, where he has significant influence on academic programs and educational policies.
During his career, Mr. Abdikarim has held several important roles, such as Head of the Economics Department at SIMAD University and Director of the SIMAD Adado Learning Center. His dedication to student achievement, institutional development, and academic quality characterizes his leadership.
In addition to his administrative roles, Mr. Abdikarim continues to engage in teaching and mentorship, emphasizing evidence-based learning and critical thinking. His broad experience in both economics and education policy contributes significantly to the advancement of higher education in the region.
Mr. Abdikarim is also an active researcher interested in development economics, education policy, and institutional governance. He has supervised undergraduate research projects and contributed to studies addressing economic challenges in post-conflict societies. His research skills include quantitative analysis, policy evaluation, and data-driven decision-making—skills he integrates into teaching and strategic leadership roles.
